Love, love, love this girl

I had her hair done for pictures we were taking that and I wanted a pic of her hair before it faded.

Sportin' the snow boots.

Since this is pretty much my scrapbook for Naomi I thought I would do a little catch up on what she's been up to. As of December, she's been potty trained. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I think I just did it at the perfect time. We went to the store and she picked out her underwear. She's been really good so far. It's nice to not do diapers anymore.

She seems so grown up. She says the most random things. It cracks us up! She has an amazing memory. I have tons of stories of how great her memory is but it would take forever! She's great with her basic colors and counting to 10. Sometimes 15 skipping a few numbers. I'm excited for her to start preschool this fall. I think she will be too. It will be so fun to see everything she's learning.

She loves to talk to people. Even people she doesn't know. She usually talks to that person about what was the highlight of her day. Sometimes she fixates on something specific from that week. She loves talking on the phone. I should install the phone she got from Christmas.

She still loves animals. Sometimes she reads books to Mia or she'll tell Mia something from that day or show her something she just got. She loves going to Grandpa's cabin in Oakley to see the horses. Of course she loves going to the Zoo.

She loves being with other people. She always wants to go see her cousins or go to Grandma and Grandpa's. She loves nursery now. Thank goodness! She loves to have books read to her over and over. She still loves Diego and then Dora. She even wears Diego underwear from the boys department.
She pretty much eats whatever I give her. I know, I'm lucky. I really don't want her to be a picky eater like myself so I try to feed her a wide variety of foods. I'm a vegetarian but I make sure to fix her meat or fish whenever I find a good recipe. I wonder if one day she'll notice that I'm not eating meat and ask why. I don't want to discourage her. I need to think of something. Even though she's a great eater she also LOVES candy, treats, whatever. She definitely got that from me. It's probably all the treats she consumed in the womb! I am addicted to treats. Since we always have some sort of treat in the house I now have to put them up high otherwise she'll just get into the pantry and help herself.
I can go on and on but I won't. I always tell my self that I need to write down, at that very moment. when something happens so I won't forget. She's awesome! I love having her around. I love her personality and hope it grows even more. I love her so much and I couldn't ask for a more perfect little girl.

I had stopped by (your blog) a few days ago and checked out the pictures of Naomi but didn't take time to read your thoughts... just finished and I think it's so sweet! So cool to hear all the neat things she's involved in, and how much you love her...

When you mentioned that she loves treats, my first thought was "she totally got that from her mom!" And then I read your next sentence. :)

I remember when we were single, and driving out and about... I'd always love it when you'd say "I need a treat." Which made me so happy that someone as fit and thin as you enjoys treats!
