Wagon Ride

Naomi and I went on a wagon ride with Kelsey and Hallie this week. I think they enjoyed themselves. I'm sad it's getting colder because that means no more wagon rides. Oh well, we'll start up again next year. Naomi received her wagon for her first birthday and she loves riding in it. Maybe we'll have to take it to St. George when we visit Grandma and Grandpa Jacobsen so she can get more riding time.

Books, books and more books

So, for the last few months, all Naomi wants to do is read books. All day long I read her books. She'll get a book and come up to me and say book. Actually, the way she says it sounds like boak. If I'm busy, she'll usually go and sit on Mia's bed with her books. It's really cute. At my baby shower, Becky's advice was to buy a book every time I go to Costco. So far I have done that and Naomi's got a lot of books. That was great advice Beck.

What a week!

So, in the last week, my neighbors house to the west burned down. They lost everything, including a dog. We stood outside from 3 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. watching all the chaos go down. Then, two days ago, our neighbor to the east was shot! Yes, I said shot. Shot in his garage. Apparently, he sold a car to a man who wouldn't pay him so my neighbor made some threats and the guy didn't take it so well. Do I live in the ghetto of Holladay? I feel that I do.

But, there was some good to this week. My friend, Christianne Valentiner came to town for a little bit with her baby, Layla. Some of us gals got together for lunch and that was the first time we saw Layla. She is really cute and so little. Christianne and I went to the outlets in Park City with our babes and we bought a lot of really cute things for them. Naomi didn't like it when I would hold Layla. She was a little jealous. But, we had a really good time. I wish the Valentiner's lived here. Maybe one day.

Here It Goes

Hi everyone. I've decide to join in and blog. My great friend Kelsey, came over and created it for me. Now, I have a 13 month old and she has a 8 month old so creating this was a challenge. We put her baby, Hallie, in my jumper to keep her content. But, after awhile, Naomi started to grab the jumper and vigorously shook it. Obviously, Hallie didn't like that. As you can see, Hallie's pay back for the jumper incident and being hit by a toy is by pulling Naomi's hair. Then, Naomi wanted to sit on Kelsey's lap and pound on the computer while she was setting up my blog. Anyway, you get the point. But, we finished and it looks great. Thank you Kels.
