Naomi Elizabeth

I love that face
Naomi telling me no no with her finger going side to side

We told Naomi she was a kitty with this furry vest

I just wanted to post some cute pics of Naomi. She is growing up too fast for me! I love this girl. She's hilarious. She's rambunctious. She's smart. She's so happy. And she gives me at least 5 to 10 hugs a day. Which I LOVE!! She loves making sounds of animals and saying "what's this" to EVERYTHING. Loves to say over and over, "mama, dada, na-na". Sometimes that's what I wake up to. I could go on and on but I won't. We love her so much.

One black eye and crazy hair

Since Naomi is all about climbing on everything she had an accident about five times a day. Last week she trip on our rug and smacked her eye on the kitchen table. Instantly, her eye was purple and swelling up. The next morning, it was more purple and black and was spreading across her eye. After I took this pic it got alot worse. Not only was it dark purple on the top but it had gone around to the bottom of her eye. Just in time for her eighteen month appointment. Of course the doctor asked what happened. Anyway, her eye is still purple but it's definitely getting better.

The other pic is just an example of how crazy her hair gets during her naps.

St. George

We went to St. George last weekend to see Chris's parents. We decide to take Chris's car instead of mine so Naomi and Mia had to ride next to each other. At first Naomi would kick Mia if she put her head on her carseat but after a while Naomi didn't care. And Naomi would tease Mia with her chicken nuggets. I snapped a cute picture of the two of them on the way home.

Happy Anniversary!

Don't ya love the caution tape!!
This was taken in 1995. Chris and I had just started dating. We look like we're up to no good!

On January 3rd 2002 Chris and I were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I always wanted a summer wedding but because we got engaged in October I didn't want to wait 9 months or more to get married. For heaven sakes we had been dating for 6 years!! The last six years of marriage have been entertaining and exciting. And I look forward to more excitement!! Chris is a great husband and father and I'm lucky to have him in my life.

Crazy ladies

I think Marie is going to try out for America's Next Top Pregnant Model

Tim, Christianne's hubby, showing off his killer white elephant gift

Friends forever!!

We had our annual girl Christmas party a few days ago. As always, we had a great time. The white elephants were outstanding again this year. It's to the point where we are buying them months in advance. Some of us ended up with 50 year old food storage, pregnancy tests with gum and incense, holy water that was blessed, t-shirts for men seeking men, oversized calculators, simpson chia pets, ect.. Honestly, I can't remember all of them. But it was really fun. As you can see, we spent alot of time taking pictures. There were a few girls who couldn't make it but we still had a great time!

Christmas Day

Annual Christmas sisters-mom pajama pic

We had a great Christmas this year. By the time Christmas day arrived, Naomi was a pro at opening gifts. And not only her gifts but everyone's gifts. Chris and I decided that this year we would only get Naomi a couple things. With all the toys we've purchased throughout the year and the gifts she'll get from Grandparents and such, Naomi will have plenty this Christmas. So, we bought her a little people's farm. Right now she's obsessed with animals. She loves it! And, she also received a little broom. She's always getting mine out and sweeping. So far she's swept the kitchen a few times. Another great thing Naomi loves is the kitchen Grandma and Grandpa Neeley gave her. We put it in her room since her should be playroom is two floors down and full of Christmas stuff. I bought some play food so she keeps herself busy playing in her kitchen. We hope everyone had a great Holiday and has a great New Years!

Dad and Naomi at Solutide's lodge

This past weekend we celebrated Christmas with Chris's family. My in laws came up from St. George for a couple of days and stayed with us. It was so nice having them around. Since they moved, we don't see them very much. Friday night we went over to my brother in laws and had a traditional Christmas dinner and then opened gifts. For the family gift my in laws gave everyone, including the little kids, Balboa Island sweatshirts. They looked so cute on the little ones. When I opened up Naomi's I said I wanted one in my size and I did! Of course we all put them on a took a family picture. We are going to Balboa in June and I'm sure those sweatshirts will come in handy for the evenings.

The Jacobsen's always go skiing around Christmas so the next day everyone went up to Solitude. I actually don't ski, but I went up for a few hours and hung out at the lodge with whoever was taking a break at the time. Of course, Chris wanted to take Naomi down a few hills so we bundled her in her cousins stuff and down they went. She was laughing and pointing at the people skiing down the hill. Next year, Chris wants to get one of those harnesses and take her skiing with that.

On Saturday night, we had the annual Neeley Christmas party at the Gallivan Center. Santa came and Naomi did not like him at all. The closer her got, the more upset she got. When her name was called, I had to go up with her and sit on Santa's lap. Everytime he looked at her she would freak out. Maybe it was his awful breath. Santa definitely needed a mint.
